Everything was incredible. The host was so nice and helpful. The accommodation itself was everything we could have hoped for. Location was great. Most things on this side of the city are within a 20 minute walk. 10/10 would recommend. She even went out of her way to help with a medical issue (ankle injury) without any hesitation. Drove my wife around to different medical centers to find me a cane and asked for nothing in return. Absolutely wonderful and so kind

Clean and comfortable for our family of four

The house was absolutely fantastic—modern, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the relaxing bath after a day of sightseeing. Having two showers and toilets, both upstairs and downstairs, was extremely handy and made our stay even more comfortable. The location is peaceful, yet still an easy walk to the Gion district and city center. The host was very friendly and helpful, meeting us at the apartment to welcome us and show us around her home. We would definitely stay again and highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto!

It was well appointed, clean, central. We also liked it was in more of a residential neighborhood and very quiet.

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean high-tech home that was within walking distance of Gion and a lot of tourist attractions. Friendly host, who was available to check us in and show us around the house and explain gadgets. Nespresso and supplies for coffee and tea were very welcome.

A beautiful residence with loads of room. Close to all the attractions of Kyoto. The host was so helpful.

I liked everything, the place was amazing.

The vibe and feel of this property is special and the host is really kind and helpful. The master bedroom really feels luxurious and comfortable and the rest of the home feels the same. I especially love the small garden and the light that comes into the property through the traditional doors. It's a beautiful place and my family really enjoyed coming home to this space. It really feels like Japan.

It was very inconvenient to only be able to store our luggage under the stairs at this stay. We were here for 4 nights and we found it hard with a family of 5 people with young kids, to unpack all our stuff into the rooms. It would be less of an issue for the master bedroom but in the other bedroom, there is nowhere to store clothes. We ended up using the downstairs area as a getting-ready area, as our clothes were accessible here, but it always made the downstairs area feel crowded, and we didn't like this. I'd like the owner to allow people to take their bags into their rooms at the very least, even if there is just a dedicated spot like downstairs.
