"A wonderful stay"

Very quiet building and neighborhood. Well maintained. Convenient central location. Comfortable, modern unit

The tub/ shower is a bit high. It might be challenging for those with mobility issues. It wasn't for us.

Location was good and the kitchen was nice

The bed was HORRIBLE!! Tiny and hard. The pillows were flat as a pancake. We ended up sleeping head to toe so we could both fit to sleep. There would be room for a larger bed if the frame was eliminated. Bath tub was scary! Oversized tub with a slick bottom. WTH. Tall or overweight?? Run from this property!

"Perfect location, great host, great value"

Our host, Tony, was very helpful, and he had also been great for a previous booking. The location is excellent, quiet and safe. This was our third time in the Quartermile area and it has always served us well. Great access and view of lovely and expansive Meadows. Useful television offerings (incl Netflix, Amazon), clothes washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Good access to grocers; would recommend Margiotta. Iconic Bobby's has excellent coffee. Pubs and restaurants five minutes away. Royal Mile and Waverley Station are an easy 10-15 minute walk. Very good bus service; we used it for transport to and from Dean's Walk, Stockbridge and Royal Britannic gardens.

Water pressure in shower and the height of the tub make showering or bathing awkward for those over age fifty. The full bed is an adjustment for those accustomed to a queen or king, linens a bit scratchy. Floor could use a re-finish.

Location was great

The bathroom needs a bath matt. Getting in and out of the shower is quiet deadly - have a huge bruise as a souvenier now. I agree with the previous comments that the flat needs some love: fixing the lightbulbs, updating furniture and so on.

The view from the bedroom window, which could be seen from the living room, was fantastic! Location could not have been better. Very close to things, but just outside regular tourist area.

Odd layout, but it wasn't built to be what it is today, so...

PWater pressure for shower was pathetic. You had to stand with your back touching the shower pipe
