Royal Mile, Edinburgh - 2 Bedroom Apartment

Superb location, warm and very convenient with lots of food options and supermarket within a few minutes. Also only a 15 min walk from Waverley train station and close to many of the tourist attractions.

The spiral stair case to access the property, but that is Edinburgh as it’s an historic place. Parts of the hall way and living accommodation starting to look a little tired but would stay again.

The hotel location was fantastic, we would walk out where in the middle of Town Center bustling with people, cafe's, retail shops. It was also centrally located where we could easy walk to Stockbridge, Portobello beach, Leith Walk and just about anywhere else in Edinburg. While the property was on the 3rd floor, climbing the 50+ was no big deal for us. We also rented parking from the owner which worked out well for us. The property is well setup for a couple and two small kids. We had a minor issue with the sink and John had someone over the very next morning to take care of it. The host was communicative and would respond very quickly via Text or the Booking.com app.

The carpets were a bit dirty. The other issue we had was with the shower setting, the inline / tankless water heater in the shower did not work well. Very difficult to figure out and water would not stay consistently warm / hot and at times very hot. The full size bed was a bit hard and the twin beds were made for very small individuals.
