La casa di Alice

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa di Alice. Alice & her husband met us at the apartment when we arrived, gave us a full orientation to the amenities, and gave us restaurant recommendations. The place was small but very functional and fully equipped. Excellent location, easy to get to the docks for boat tours. Highly recommend, no complaints!

Excellent location being walking distance to sights and train. Lots of extras provided like snacks, toiletries, bottled water, plenty of towels and pillows, note pad, pens, ferry schedules, tourist maps, umbrella, power boards,coffee and sweets. Hosts very lovely and apartment is charming in style and furniture.

The first 2 days and nights were Friday and Saturday which meant big crowds. This brought lots of noise until approx 2am. Unfortunately I needed to take a sleeping pill both nights. The rest of the nights were fine. We were ok with the stairs but others may not be.

Place is very small, struggled to get in and out of shower. The stairs are very steep and scary

Warm welcome, clean, ideal location, good value for money. The additional items left for snacks, breakfast were a most welcome bonus.

Instructions to find the location from the station did not send you via the easiest, most direct route, but this is only a very minor point.

Such a cute and authentic Italian apartment, but the best were the host couple, the nicest people!

Alice and her husband are amazing hosts. We spent three nights at this property which is in a great location, walking distance from lots of restaurants, shops and train station. The property has everything you need (fully equipped kitchen, toiletries in the bathroom). Best thing for me was to wake up in the morning and enjoy the coffee Alice provided. 😊

The property is right in a piazzetta so it's noisy until midnight. We got used to this after the first night but it may cause issues for someone who is a light sleeper like me.

The hosts, Alice and Vincenzo, were lovely. They were waiting for us a few metres outside the accommodation to see us to the entrance. Vincenzo kindly helped carry our luggage. They both told us about the interesting history of the house. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Very good location and close to the train station.

This is a charming appartment with a character. It is like a time travel capsule in a medivial building. I enjoyed everything and all cute details, fittings and fixtures, artefacts in the appartment. It was amazing. I would love to come back here anyday. It was an opportunity to stay here. Alice and Enzo are extremly gentle, polite and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet them.

The toilet is very small.but cant help it its an old building. May be an issue for some.
