The location was perfect for exploring the city. The apartment was basic, definitely not stunning, but comfortable enough. The host provided lots of tips on what to do and see.

Being asked to pay a deposit the night before our stay which was unexpected, so be warned. Miscommunication over key collection and drop off. Temperature controls didn't work on the shower, so if you enjoy being slightly scalded, then this is the place for you. Otherwise it was ok.

Fantastic area, far away enough from bars that it's quiet in the evenings but still close enough that everywhere of interest is still only a 5-10 minute walk. Lovely and comfortable, great facilities provided. It was warm, cozy and absolutely brilliant for a weekend away. The owner was also attentive and lovely, really made our stay.

Location of property was very central

Lack of communication from the host was asked week before stay to pay a 200pound deposit fee which was never stated when booking this property but after talking to Julie on phone who seemed genuine at the time and I understood that due to issues she had in past with people i was happy to pay it how ever nearly 3months later still have received my deposit back and after numerous phone conversations and being told she would do it that evening has stopped replying so I have now passed this onto booking.com to sort out I was good enough to pay at short notice I shouldn't have to wait 3 months for my money back

Good location

Owner requested a deposit and has not returned despite numerous attempts to contact Wi-Fi was not working and owner lied about having it fixed. Shower was unusable as temperature adjustment was broken. Unwashed bed clothes left in washing machine. Drawers in bedroom were broken / filled with miscellaneous items like paint cans etc. Bed was very creaky. Could not move in bed without it making loud noise. Bed very low to the floor. Very inconvenient and uncomfortable.
