The views were nice

They had workers outside of the window during our first 5 hours of our stay. We had no privacy at all.

Very private. Free parking all around.

Airplane noise, but I was totally OK with it. The free parking and private.

Everything was easy and fast. The host was super nice! The place was very clean and had all necessary amenities. I needed a stay near the airport, so it was very convenient stay - walking distance from the downtown and only 7 min by Lyft from the airport!

The sink looks like it was backed up and was slow to drain , while brushing my teeth, there’s no outlet near the desk in the living /kitchen to plug my laptop into so I have to run the wire across , the ac/ heater only reaches the living room and not the bedroom. There was a peace of the ceiling ripped off and hanging. I think this is more of a crash grab motel for the owner rather than a place they actually enjoy to rent out .

The location was great - really central for the price (just 10 minute walk from Little Italy). I like to walk, so I found most of downtown very accessible on foot. The area is hilly though, so might not be as easy for everyone (my colleague was less keen). Also worth noting that the apartment is accessed via steep steps - not a problem for us, but something to bear in mind if you have heavy luggage or might struggle with stairs. The apartment was clean and bright. The kitchen looked well-equipped, but we didn't actually use the facilities.

Honestly - I had been expecting 2 separate rooms, and was kind of thrown by the fact that this apartment is just one space, and that the two sofa beds were just around the corner from the main bedroom area. The only internal door is on the toilet. If I'd been travelling with my partner, I'd have been absolutely happy with the rental. However, I was sharing with a colleague, and it was awkward having to walk through her sleeping space in order to use the toilet in the night. The bath/shower and sink were all in the bedroom area, so privacy had to be negotiated at every step. It didn't bother me - but it's worth noting that the apartment (and this whole area) is directly under the flightpath for incoming planes to San Diego - so pack your earplugs :)
