I didn’t like anything, I booked the place the host did not contact me at all I was stuck in the rain waiting to check in but the host didn’t bother answering my calls or contacting me at all after when I called her about 20 times eventually she replied but then was so rude over the phone was shouting at my wife and then decided to cancel my booking without my consent and also charged me £30 for cancellation fee when I was on my way to check in because I was in desperate need to get away from heavy rain tired from work, I didn’t use the services at all still charged me fee of £30 without my consent very bad service I would suggest to never book a place with her you will be disappointed and also you will be left frustrated in stressful situation

The bed was comfortable the tv for once did have access to WiFi and was able to use it, it’s nice small and cosy

There wasn’t any soap to wash your hands with after using the restroom nor for anything in the kitchen, a piece of glass on the floor, the door frame was damaged looked like it was ripped off and behind the kitchen door a hole in the wall as if the doors been slammed into it

It only a walking distance to town and this place is near a Fire station and it’s easy to locate this house.

I stayed at the ground floor, The bush at the backyard was not properly maintain as I am afraid of snakes or other creatures that may creep into the kitchen. There is also old rubbish that need to be clear outside the back door. One Saturday night of my stay there, I was annoyed by other tenor in a group shout amongst themself & walk noisy at the 1st floor as well as they shut their doors aggressively.

Nothing.

We did not feel that the property was secure. Although the outer door and room door were on key codes, we felt that they could be easily opened and we did not feel safe. Couldn’t lock the room door easily from the inside. No window locks. No arms to enable the window to be left partially open, whilst occupying the room. The entrance hall and stair carpet were dirty and had not been vacuumed for some time. There was also Mail and rubbish on the stair. The room was smelly, which was very dusty and the kitchen smelt of food odour. The floors were dirty and there were dirty marks on the wall. There was also a stain on the bedroom ceiling. The extractor fan was filthy. The bed frame was falling apart. There was only one cup in the kitchen and no teaspoons. Not enough utensils or crockery for two people. All blinds were dirty. The kitchen window sill was rotting. The shower cubicle was coming apart at the bottom and the shower had mildew. The bathroom sink sealant was black. There was missing grout from some floor tiles in the bathroom where dirt had gathered. This was apartment three. We also had apartment two which had similar problems. The attached photos do not show the extent of the uncleanliness and run down state of these rooms.

Booking was effortless. Constant accurate communication from the host. Details given promptly. Everything you need for an overnight stay. Clean place and clean bedding. Nice shower. Car parking was free too.

Could have done with more pillows but that's just a personal choice. Nothing to dislike

This is the WORST booking I have ever had the displeasure of booking.

Everything. Filthy inside and out. Used toilet rolls on the cistern, broken windows handles, threadbare blinds, unmade bed, I have never seen a pillow as disgusting in my life. Needless to say we didn’t stay but the owner changed the code on the door so we couldn’t even change in there to attend our festival.

The bathroom was the best feature from this stay

The mattress looked mouldy the radiator was on the floor when arrived neither the hob kettle and toaster doesn’t work electric trips every other day

I liked that it was in a quiet location and was the right choice for the work I needed to do. The staff were polite and considerate.

I had some delays in receiving my refund, but I later found it was an inadvertent oversight. I will definitely plan to lodge and recommend it.
