well equipped, lovely kitchen and bathroom. good parking. seeing a deer in the garden outside.

I got well timed updates for how to locate the accommodation, where to park etc. And how to gain access once there. Also for the time I was expected to vacate. I liked the booklet inside the chalet with details of WiFi,local restaurants and sights. There were seats outside with cushions so I could sit in the beautiful surroundings, read my book in peace and get a good dose of sunshine. Everywhere inside was immaculately clean and tastefully designed.

That i was only staying 2 nights ! I had already formed a brief relationship with a local squirrel x

We were looking for a place that would have a home from home feeling and we weren't disappointed. The location is peaceful and made coming back from work a delight. A nice space to cook and unwind.

There was nothing not to like and we would be happy to visit again.

The lodge was beautiful and the rural countryside outside was lovely.. spotless and everything u needed was available. Lovely patio area with seating and umbrella available. Will definitely be returning

Very comfortable with everything needed for short stay. 10mins drive to south downs way.

Only minor negatives were that the patio needs a clean (birds roosting overhead), outside chairs need replacing. Also would be helpful to have power sockets on both sides of the bed. But this didn't impact our enjoyment of the stay.

A very quiet place to stay which was perfect for us to attend my mum’s 85th birthday meal. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed watching the deer in the field opposite in the evenings.

It has been mentioned before about the fridge and freezer door being on the wrong side - I trapped my fingers between the radiator and freezer door so ideally this is rectified, perhaps by moving the radiator along the wall and then swapping the door opening side. We also had no welcome pack (even milk) which is unusual. The patio furniture looked very tired and unloved and didn’t give a good first impression. The umbrella was brand new. One of the patio doors was difficult to close as it had dropped slightly.
