It is a fantastic location with a clean lodge and exceptional hosts. It has one of the best internet connections I have ever experienced in a remote area and complete streaming services to keep the kids happy. There is a lot to do if you like long walks and outdoors. Portpatrick is just around the corner, and you can spend a lovely day walking the coastline and enjoying delicious meals and drinks in one of the restaurants. Parking is free, and everything around is clean and well-locked. This is the perfect spot for a family break, and we will definitely return. You can bring your dog and explore the area. We stayed for four days and had a lovely time. The Lodges are equipped if you like to cook, and shops are a 10-minute drive away. Also, there is a dedicated dog area where you can leave your dog to run free and have a little play. We loved it, and the kids had a wonderful time. If you want a relaxing break away from the busy city and don't mind long walks, this is the place to go.

The lodge was really cosy. Was warm enough, when it’s windy can hear it but didn’t affect our stay what so ever. It was really spacious and comfy bed. The balcony was lovely for a morning coffee. The staff were lovely and on hand if needed. Great information packs and good pet area. Lovely fresh eggs and jam in the honesty box. Plenty to do in the surrounding towns and very dog friendly!

Views were fantastic, lodge was well equipped and comfortable. Dog exercise area was fantastic for our dog and we loved the local produce for sale

Excellent warm and friendly hosts! The welcome basket is a hat add on 🥰. We were lucky enough to go out with Kay on our last morning to feed some sheep, the girls loved it! Plenty to do in the neighbouring towns and even visit Belfast for the day!! Will definitely return

Absolutely loved the view! The beds were extremely comfortable. The heating was great when needed. Excellent shower, bathroom and kitchen facilities. Ian & Kay (the owners) were friendly, welcoming and even got my young son involved feeding the sheep!!! Checking in and out were simple and straightforward. Great stay all round.

Loved everything!! Struggling to find any negatives with this place.
