Antica Dogana Apartments

The apartment was clean, and everything matched the photos on Booking. The rooms were spacious, everything worked perfectly, there was a terrace, a large bathroom, storage space for suitcases, and very large wardrobes in each room. A grocery store, fresh fruit and vegetable shops, and a fish shop are all very close by. Cafes and other shops are also within walking distance. It’s very convenient if you are travelling with family, as there is a washing machine and the possibility to cook if you don’t feel like going to a restaurant.

The location was really good – close to the sea and just a short walk to a large supermarket, which was very convenient. The shower and toilet were modern and comfortable, and it was great to have access to a kitchen with a fridge and microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated during our stay.

There were a few things missing that would have made the stay better – we didn’t have a kettle or an iron, which are usually quite standard. The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, so at least some basic cleaning tools like a broom or cloths would have been helpful, as the floors got dirty quickly. There was ongoing construction work near the building, making it difficult to find the entrance. Also, the bunk bed was very squeaky and woke us up several times during the night. Finally, although we were four people and the staff were aware of that, only two wine glasses were provided.

Appartamento carino, posizionato in zona centrale ed abbastanza tranquilla vicino al mare.

Letto corto (sono 1,78 ed i piedi uscivano fuori). Materasso e cuscini scomodi. La camera confina con il bagno dell appartamento vicino ed i rumori si sentono tutti! Soprattutto la notte. In cucina solo tre pentole a disposizione. La cucina ha la piastra ad induzione e la macchinetta del caffè non era adatta e quindi non era utilizzabile. Pulizia apparentemente buona, ma all' arrivo ho camminato scalza 10 minuti ed avevo i piedi neri. Le chiavi si ritirano prima delle 15,30 o dopo le 18 presso il ristorante del proprietario, che se si arriva in treno o con il pulman non è proprio il massimo raggiungerlo visto che non è vicinissimo all appartamento. Centrally located and close to the beach. The owner was helpful. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, with a great shower and the bonus of air conditioning! There is a lovely bar on the corner with very kind owners and staff.

Un appartamento bellissimo, nuovo, spazioso, dotato di tutto, dalla smart TV ai condizionatori in entrambe le camere, alla lavatrice. Complimenti. A presto !

Appartamento molto carino, bene arredato, dotazione di stoviglie, biancheria, accessori ottima. Buona posizione, mare raggiungibile anche a piedi . Solo un paio di appunti: la mancanza di aria condizionata in soggiorno e la parete della camera da letto confinante con il bagno dell'appartamento a fianco forse un po' troppo sottile, in particolare la notte... Proprietario Stefano gentile e disponibile. Certamente consigliato!

I completely missed the message about picking up the keys in a different location, so that is my own fault. I would say however, that even if I did see the message it is not very convenient to have to collect keys then make my way to the apartment with all the luggage, in spite of or perhaps because of, it is a pleasant walking distance

The only couch available was quite small. The ice tray looked like it was from a doll house, but it wasn't a big deal. This will sound sill, but a tea towel would have been very handy.
