Antica Dogana Apartments

The restaurant where you pick up the key is closed until 18:00, so you have to wait for the restaurant staff to arrive at 18:00 to get the key for the room. There is no information about this on the website. For the same price you can rent a hotel room where there is no issue getting the key for the room and the room gets cleaned every day.

It was a newly renovated and clean apartment in the city center of Terracina. The location is very comfortable, just some mins walk from the beach and also from the old town. The apartment is surrounded by bars, restaurants, shops. The owner was helpful, answered all our questions fast. The apartment is on the top, but equipped with air-conditioning.

Although the apartment itself is freshly renovated with all comforts, the building itself it's old and currently under renovation. Unfortunately we also met with cockroach in the building. The apartment is on the 4th floor, the elevator goes until the 3rd. The kitchen is well equipped, just some small things we were missing (wine bottle opener, wine glasses, dishwasher - for lazy people :)) The apartment doesn't have a parking space, but when we were there, there was a big parking lot at the port, just by 5mins walk, which was for free (in the high season you have to pay for it).

clean and modern

to get to the flat you need to walk in a dark alleyway/corridor, might have been because of the works. however at night it felt a bit uncomfortable walking there. hopefully with the works done it will feel a bit safer

unfortunately there were building renovations going on and we did not get the balcony and views we were expecting.
