Very clean and comfortable great host

It was a lovely cottage and although only spent 2 nights felt I had been away for longer.

There is no kitchen, only a kettle and a fridge in the living room. The owner lives in accommodation adjoining the cottage and has access through a mortice locked door at any time which the guest cannot lock from their side. The first of 12 photographs shows a building which is in fact the owner’s accommodation, giving a deceptive impression that the guest is renting a much more luxurious accommodation than is the reality.

Jane , our host , was awesome and very helpful. The beds are extremely comfortableand central heating is very efficient . For the first time Jane now has wifi reception in the building,despite the very poor local reception. Admittedly ,we preferred the tranquility without an internet connection ! Some people prefer a constant wifi connection,but we relish the break from it. Also new was a little night light,which we didn't use. The local Pub'Hotel serves really good food and is only a couple of minutes walk down the road. Jane provided cereal,milk ,tea'coffee and snacks for our use.Cups and plates also provided. This was our third visit in 5 months.

The 3 night break was too short !! Unfortunately,one of us had to return to work today.

Great location, easy to travel to nearby tourist attractions by car. Very clean and well decorated rooms, with everything we need. Lovely host and very responsive to ad hoc needs.

Would be lovely to have a pantry area with a toaster for making simple breakfast. But the host has provided milk, tea and coffee, and breakfast cereals within the limited space available, which was great.

A gorgeous studio in Stirling / Thornhill with the most comfortable, luxurious beds we have ever stayed in! A lovely place to spend a night or two, with such warm welcoming hosts and an incredible village pub just down the road. Jane provided a lovely breakfast and drinks making selections which was lovely, and was so helpful and kind to us. We loved it, thank you Jane and Tilly!🐾

Nothing - we loved everything! The only comment I would share is that there isn’t a full working kitchen or microwave (which we knew before booking and were very happy with)

Jane and Tilly our hosts were amazing. So welcoming and had lots of good ideas for our stay. The apartment was so clean and spacious. Also Jane has a lovely garden you can use.

There is no kitchenette but there is a fridge and Jane the host provides breakfast essentials and there is tea and coffee.
