Location is great, central to the town, yet quiet. The apartment is beautifully presented with everything very well thought out. Gorgeous fittings and lighting. Warm and peaceful.

The only thing is the couch could have some bigger cushions for little short people to put behind back. Minor but could be considered.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee and eggs all on arrival, plus the bonus of clotted cream scones. An excellent warm welcome. Other little touches included stationary in the desk drawer for those who are working away from home. It has everything you could need. Kitchen is extremely well supplied with tools, pans etc (although we ate out mostly). The apartment is perfectly located for exploring the town by foot, with shops, bars, theatre and a supermarket all within just a few minutes walk. If you are looking for a fabulous high end place to stay with all the home comforts you could wish for, Arkle is the place. I would highly recommend. 5*

Arkle is utter perfection. We felt very privileged and spoilt. It's location ticked every box. A cream tea was laid out for our arrival - a welcome bonus.

Found only having one key a little problematic. Maybe some teeny toiletries?
