Eastbourne Town centre Maisonette apartment

Flat was easy walking distance from the station , the seafront, and the tennis tournament we were attending. It was very spacious and the beds were comfortable.

We stayed on the hottest day of the year but had to close the windows due to the noise outside that went on into the early hours. Even with the windows closed, we were all kept awake by the noise.

The location was great, there was plenty of space.

Location perfect. Great sized property. Very clean and well equipped.

Front door security was a concern. A lock on the second door would be good.

Bed was comfortable, only good thing I can say about it really.

No nets in the kitchen or any windows, anyone could see in. The windows are single glazed, the noise was outrageous. The main door had a little lock, chain was broken it felt very unsafe, especially in the centre of town. Had to put my buggy against the second door downstairs and a chair up on the landing as just didn’t feel the security of property was good enough. Felt very uneasy. Some of the towels smelt like cheesy feet so clearly wasn’t washed. Overall the cleaning wasn’t 100%, no cheese grater either. The bath wouldn’t drain properly kept on filling up when had a shower. The cutlery was dirty , the pots and pans were dirty had to re wash them before use. Just overall not happy with my stay. The floor wasn’t mopped as when I wiped the floor it was black. Hardly no communication with the owners. Had bunch of people sitting in the door way, scared me as the security was shocking!!! Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Good location for our needs

A little dated, Not as clean as we would expect, paint on linen, lipstick on towel, noises at night, especially at front of flat.
