KCS Birmingham City Apartment with Balcony/Parking

Perfect location for our visit to the Hippodrome. Easy walk to nearby restaurants and Hippodrome.

Location of the 'reception' and the unhelpful attitude to the second adult to arrive. We had no idea how easy it was to access lift to our floor in the block from the underground car park. This was part of the block and not a totally separate garage complex we had understood. Main problem was having to drive to a garage (ten minutes walk away) to pick up the keys. Once you know the location and how far away anything is, it is really not a problem. Walking to the garage seemed a step too far after a long journey. We would have felt more secure in a city centre with a lock on the inside of the apartment door.

The apartment was in a good location for where we were visiting in Birmingham. It was clean and well equipped. The parking for 2 cars was an added bonus. We were grateful to get an early check in.

As others have noted in their reviews it was a shame the patio door from the living room was not functioning as the apartment was very hot even with the fans provided. It would have been good to have sheets for the beds as well as duvets for this time of year. We took the cover off the duvet to sleep under that and were a bit surprised with the state of the duvet itself. It was odd to pick up the keys from the garage and to have to pay a breakage deposit of £200 and I think this information should be available prior to booking. Don't expect an amazing balcony or great views.

Cleanliness especially, quiet, 2 bathrooms, good quality furnishings . Excellent standard all round. Would definitely go back! A true winner! 😀

Picking up/dropping keys off at service station across a busy road and the staff there refused to give us directions to the apartment block. A little inconvenient for me as I'm disabled.

Location, parking, secure, safe, clean, and comfortable. Host very swift to reply to questions. Good instructions of how to get keys etc. Good communication.

Bed sheets didn't fit the pull out bed. Was only 4 towels for 5 of us. Would have been nice to be able to open door off of living room, as was very hot.

The apartment was clean and modern, good location for the city centre and arena. All toiletries, towels and bedding included.

Everything you could need, great location and comfortable beds. Parking space in locked underground car park is a great addition.

The large deposit but it was returned quickly after leaving the property as we found it.

We had a great stay at the apartment. Great location, really close to Brindley Place (The Mailbox). Lovely spacious apartment with good kitchen facilities, comfy beds, ensuite to master & 2nd bathrooom.. Parking really handy. You pick up flat/car park access keys from nearby petrol station & get the parking permit to leave in car window from inside the flat (then do the reverse on leaving).

Shame couldnt use patio doors off lounge to let in air and l access narrow balcony, (sign saying not to open) which other reviews had metioned previously so doors seems to have been broken for a while. . You could access it off the master bedroom but shame not from the lounge..
