One Bay Residence Unit 15 - Penthouse with private roof top, jacuzzi and sea view

Place was excellently located. A lot of restaurants and nice beach in walking distance. Grocery store a stone throw away. I love the home itself with the private Jacuzzi access on the roof top. Highly recommend for a couple of a small group.

Location was good

Lack of towels and no beach towels. Old stained linen, kitchen cupboards dirty on side of oven. Lack of toilet paper. Kitchen utensils definitely need an upgrade. Bedroom cupboards dirty.

The property is beautiful with all amenities. We had a lovely time at the apartment. The rooms are spacious with all amenities perfect for a group of 4 or more. Its thoughtfully designed and comfortable.

The house is very comfortable, very clean, modern design, new furniture, very useful, very close to the center, the landlord is very attentive. If I come to Mauritius again, this is the place again.

The whole appartment was immaculate and very well equipped and had everything you could possibly need. The landlord Kishore is a lovely gentleman and met us on arrival to show us where everything was. He also allowed us to stay on a few extra hours as we had an evening flight. The jacuzzi on the rooftop sun terrace. The location is good only a few minutes walk to the supermarket, restaurants and Perrybere beach The underground car park.

Nothing really, my only suggestion might be to get some folding chairs you could perhaps take to the beach.

The apartment was spacious. The host showed us around on our arrival. The apartment is close to shops, restaurants and a public beach. There is a bus route that goes past the apartment that takes you to Grand Baie, which is only an 8 minute drive via taxi. The pool and jacuzzi was welcome in the very intense heat we experienced. There is an aircon in the bedrooms, an aircon in the lounge would have been welcomed. The appliances in the kitchen was in good condition. We never switched the TV on but in the lounge was a big screen TV apparently with Netflix. There is a public beach close by which is not really ideal for snorkeling, but great for boat rides or diving.

We were contacted two days prior to our booking that the host wanted cash on our arrival. We were already in Mauritius and our arrival at his apartment was on a public holiday, so we could not visit a bank. We did not want to use an ATM for such a big amount. Our understanding was that we would be paying through booking.com which was the reason why we used booking.com. On our arrival there was still bedding, towels and mats on a washing rack in the apartment. It was left there for the time we stayed there. On our arrival there was half a toilet roll for two people for 5 days. A cleaner arrived two days later and only removed the dirt from the bin, our understanding was that she would be cleaning the apartment on that day of her arrival, which was not done. There were streamers and glitter upstairs at the Jacuzzi from previous guests that were not cleaned up. We often visit apartments and are usually welcomed with enough coffee or tea to see us through until we get to a shop. There was two bottles of water, but nothing further. Making provision for international guests is a nice value add to your accommodation.
