Luxury studio apartment near Birmingham citycentre

The location was in walking distance of Moseley which is where we were attending an event, so it was perfect for us, and it was a quiet street where we felt safe to park our car. The property was cosy and perfectly self-contained with a comfy bed, quirky decor and a fully fitted kitchen - we were only there for one night so didn't make full use of the kitchen but it would have been good for a longer stay too.

The touch-pad entry system to the door took many attempts to get it to work - I think our fingers might have been too cold to trigger it! The main issue with this is that every failed attempt causes the machine to 'speak' in a loud voice telling you that the attempt has failed - which must be annoying for people in other apartments. I feel that a regular key safe would be better (although, of course, there's a risk of losing the keys then).

Good location

The property contained a cannabis smell and the carpet was dirty on the rear side near the window. Upon arrival the PIN code was incorrect to access the property and I could not gain access for some time. It was an average stay at best. The bathroom has been constructed to a poor standard and the shower is not brilliant.

Cosy with nice decor and useful kitchen equipment for a night away. Mostly very clean and extremely comfortable.

Great location, Visitors can easily get around. Good place for a short stay. The owner was responsive, ready to resolve issues I raised and he was ready to provide support when needed.

The only issue was that the apartment wasn't clean as expected. 1. The bathroom and toilet are not as clean as expected. 2. I had to clean the microwave myself as it had food stains which were not cleaned. 3. The oven isn't clean as well, it has food remains. 4. The kitchen sponges were old, it would be good if they could be replaced often. Ultimately, I advised the owner to use another cleaning agency or better still get a proper cleaning staff and ensure the cleaning was supervised before the visitors checked in.

I'm just nitpicking. There needs to be more toiletries.

Large room & comfortable bed.

Hairs found in various places around the apartment,not enough cutlery, plates & cooking utensils & no tea towels,tv wouldn't work- no signal,moved box behind tv & it worked for a while,loose cables?

It was nicely furnished and the property was warm and had hot water available readily. I was able to contact the host via phone and message and they responded promptly.

You can hear other people in apartments staying above and can be annoying if your trying to sleep.
