Luxury studio apartment near Birmingham citycentre

Nicely decorated, very clean and easy check in. Location is great.

The place was accessible and parking OK.

The place was filthy! The pillow cases and duvet cover had not been changed and they stank. I had to wrap a towel around the pillows and sleep with my clothes on! God knows how long it was since the carpet was hoovered. Pubes in the shower, which was nice. Nothing more to add really...

Location was good for what we needed. Good wifi. Kitchen cutlery, plates etc were adequate. Access was easy once we had the details from the owner (the Booking.com message was not received until the following morning).

Bathroom - Extremely small. Shower had mould where sealant hadn't been finished off properly. Kitchen facilities - Long life milk (little pots) were out of date and off so unable to even make a cup of tea or coffee. Mattress - very soft and unsupportive. TV remote wouldn't let us turn off subtitles. The fabric of the building meant that there was no sound insulation from the guests above us. We could hear their whole conversation and footsteps - not helped by the three of them argueing until 3am!!!
