Bentley Rise

Great decor, really well equipped and lovely to have the host next door checking in that we had everything we needed. Everything had clearly been carefully thought about and arranged. Also loved the quiet location, yet within easy distance of the beach.

The apartment is in a very good condition, seems freshly refurbished, very clean and comfortable. We did not use much of the kitchen tools, but the ones that we used were spot on. The apartment is surrounded by a wonderful garden (and you have a bit of it for yourself to use). The apartment is not far from two bus stops and a nice walk next to the River Lim to the centre of Lyme Regis. The hosts are very kind and willing to help you and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The only flaw of the place is that the apartment is under a roof, so if you are really tall, it can pose some issues. Another small flaw is that the house resides a bit far from the centre of Lyme Regis (800-900m) and some of the routes to reach the apartment are without street lights, so they can be quite dark at night.

Good location, lovely apartment and friendly hosts.

The hosts were very helpful and gave all access information well in advance. A good instruction booklet is provided for using the appliances. It was great to be able to make use of the garden seating area and thanks to Sam for providing a parasol during the period of hot weather.

The seating in the living area was a little uncomfortable.

This was a brilliant, well-equipped and excellently located base for a holiday. The flat was comfy, Sam was a great host, and I am planning to visit again. The garden was absolutely stunning.
