Perfect and spacious cottage overlooking the river and right in the heat of Llangollen. Beautifully presented and equipped with absolutely everything you need for a few days away.

Riverside Suites is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of Llangollen. Having spent much of my life in the area, I was amazed that I had never come across it before, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. The location could not be better. Situated right by the river, the property has a beautiful garden with seating areas where you can relax in the evening, enjoy the riverside views, and take in the surrounding nature. It offers a wonderfully peaceful setting despite being right in the centre of town. The accommodation itself is a charming and cosy cottage, beautifully presented and exceptionally comfortable. There is a spacious living area, a comfortable bedroom, a warm and welcoming bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need if you choose to cater for yourself. If cooking isn't on the agenda, there are numerous restaurants, cafés, and pubs literally moments away. Everything Llangollen has to offer is right on your doorstep, making it an ideal base for exploring the town. Although parking is not directly on the property, the owners thoughtfully provide a parking permit that allows guests to use nearby public car parks free of charge. Simply displaying the permit removes any parking concerns, which is a very welcome touch. After a long drive, we were delighted to discover that the host had left some essentials for us, including bread, coffee, and other groceries. It was an unexpected gesture and greatly appreciated. Those small touches really helped us settle in and immediately feel at home. Communication throughout the booking and arrival process was excellent. The host was friendly, responsive, and kept us informed every step of the way. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and it was clear that guest comfort is a priority. Overall, I cannot recommend Riverside Suites highly enough.

Lovely property, loved the decor and very clean, right in the heart of Llangollen, would stay again

Great location in town and views of the river at the back. Plenty of space and good kitchen facilities. Great character apartment. Great communication and recommendations from Bethan. (The Cornmill is a must for dinner). Llangollen is lovely and we did some great walks here along the canals and up to the old castle.

Being old the floor boards were very creaky and some noise from the adjacent apartment.

Fantastic location just off the main high street with a lovely riverside setting. We stayed alongside friends in the upstairs accommodation, and our host Bethan kindly left the connecting door open so we could all enjoy the beautiful secret garden overlooking the river together. Both kitchens were very well equipped with everything needed for self-catering, including dishwashers. The beds were very comfortable, and all bedding and towels were clean and fresh. Bethan also provided thoughtful extras such as milk, butter, and bread on arrival. Parking permits for two vehicles were included, and communication throughout was excellent — Bethan was always happy to help with quick responses to any questions. Overall, a fab stay.

Only a minor point — the beds have kickboards, which my husband personally doesn’t like.

The property was lovely, with a cute secret garden at the back overlooking the river. Everything was very clean, and it was a nice touch to have bread, butter, and milk provided for our arrival. Bethan was very helpful, sending lots of information before our arrival and replying to messages quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to stay, and I will definitely be back.

Everything really! Couldn't fault it, even down to the toiletries in the bathroom and the bread, milk and butter in the fridge. Location was absolutely spot on.

There wasn't anything that we disliked.
