Room was clean

The booking process wasn’t very clear. They deducted £30 deposit from my account which I thought was refundable but it wasn’t in actual. I was told later it was a damage waiver and non refundable. They should have made this clear at the time of booking so people know the exact cost of the room and not what appears on the display with booking.com

Location

The toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The hot water ran out after 1 shower and the rugs were all turned up and folded on arrival.

The service system. It took more time to fix the problem while staying there.

Inside was good and clean but service is terrible

It was not mentioned at all before booking that they require a £99 deposit if there are any damages and I still have not received my £99 back into my account and very concerned but I can’t get through to anybody I had problems filling a form for them after booking and they asked for a deposit which I paid on the day I called them once and they answered and told me the quickest way to get a response is by email when I am 2hrs away from the property I don’t want to email I would like to phone up and get my itenary I kept calling them but they ignored my calls I decided to call them of my partners phone and they answered straight away

It was spacious.

The sofa bed was filthy the seat cushions and the mattress cover was dirty with a blood stain and hairs. Carpet was dirty and and floors were not clean. Kitchen hadn’t been cleaned to a satisfactory level. The second bedroom upstairs was out of use as we we’re disgusted by the duvet cover which was mattered in body hairs. The second bedroom duvet was clean thankfully as I went with my husband and baby. Very overpriced considering the actual cleanliness levels. Upon arrival when I first walked into the apartment I could smell marajuana. If you are going with baby/kids or have limited mobility I would not recommend as the stairs are really tiring and their is no lift so we had to do a few trips to take luggage up. Heaters are very poor barely let any heat out it was freezing and we left it on for 3 days.

Noise insulation is very poor you can feel vibrations from the street while in bed and obviously hear them too. Couch was broken, kitchen accessories (pans, etc.) were in poor condition, hot water was intermittent (need to repeatedly boost), and discovered on arrival that hotel policy is that package delivery is not allowed so if you are planning to order anything online while in town this is not the place! (Also there is no lift and our place was 3 floors up of stairs but that was my fault for not noticing)
