The Old Three Pigeons

Spacious. Nicely decorated. Nice walks across the road. Everything we needed.

Restaurant closed on mondays and Tuesdays.

The location is very good in the countryside close to the A5 and Shrewsbury. The apartment is very large and comfortable and ideal for a family to stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is excellent with good service and A la carte food which we enjoyed very much. There is plenty of parking behind the pub. There is a petrol station with a shop near the pub which is handy if needing breakfast as breakfast is not available at the pub. We would stay at the Old Three Pigeons again.

The kitchen could do with more cups and mugs. Better washing up facilities could be available.

Loved the staff, so friendly and accommodating. Sean very welcoming. The rooms upstairs were spacious and had a lovely homely feel. Was very well equipped and comfortable. Airy and very clean. Loved the decor too.

The host was very friendly and help us with everything we need. The location is exceptional and very easy access for the surroundings.

Beautifully decorated in keeping with the character of the property.

Nothing - but note that it might not be suitable if you have mobility issues, go to bed early, or are tall!

The apartment is above the pub, really spacious and comfortable bed. Worked well for us with 2 children the kitchen is separated so we were able to put kids to bed and have a meal from the pub which they brought up to us. We also had a Sunday lunch which was really lovely. Great country side walks from the pub as well.

The kitchen wasn't greatly equipped with water glasses and cups.

Clean and spacious apartment. Nice pub.

A few things made our stay less than excellent. The TV in the bedroom was not connected and so not working. The remote control for main tv had batteries missing. The electric shower didn’t work as the isolator pull was broken! Only shower but the bath was ok. The other niggle was in the kitchen there were no mugs for hot drinks and no glasses either! The drink making facilities were in the kitchen which was a separate room away from bedroom suite. Would have been nice to have the drink facility in the bedroom. These are just areas for improvement.
