Convenient for the seafront and plenty of restaurants 20 minute walk away. Clean and the bonus of a parking place.

As is often the case, there is plenty of space in the bedroom for a larger size bed, but they're more often than not, too small. As was the case here. The kitchen is tiny and we wouldn't want to be self catering to any extent. For these couple of days we'd decided to eat out anyway so it wasn't an issue. We had a couple of breakfasts and ate standing, the seats are tiny as is the worktop. There isn't a table to eat at. The blind in the bedroom needs mending or replacing, the spring mechanism is faulty. The sofa bed in the sitting room is too deep to sit on in any comfort, it might be ok with a couple of foot rests. The owner kindly let us put some shopping in the fridge, we arrived a couple of hours early. He explained that the floors were wet, not a problem, I was in and out. However, the floors were still wet the next day. We opened the doors to let some air through to try and dry them off. This is sounding like a moan, it isn't that bad but I do think that if owners actually stayed in their listings for a week, they'd learn from their own experience. The next question on the feedback is "did the property meet your expectations"... Well, no, not really, but then perhaps our expectations are too high? We weren't expecting "boutique luxury" in any shape or form but perhaps the basics were a little too basic. 😕 Armed with what we know, would we stay there again, yes, but not to self cater and with a bigger bed!! 😄

Spacious, clean, location, easy access , little garden fairly comfortable. Quick response from owner

Main bed felt bit uncomfortable but maybe because we are used to a waterbed. One in living room mattress was better I think.

The owners responded quickly to queries and were relaxed about us keeping our car parked at the property after check out. The apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. A small garden was available, the location was close to the seafront, 15 minutes walk from Central Southsea and very quiet.

I would have liked 2 small bedside lamps.

Location fab, parking a real advantage. Beds really comfy.

Place really wasn't very clean, lounge sofa not comfy to sit on, place needs a spruce up, could be so much better. Bathroom small. For the sake of a lick of paint and a good clean wouldn't take much doing. .

I was able to arrange an early check in time. Off road parking, on the driveway, was very handy.

Great location and a spacious lounge and bedroom. Well equipped kitchen.

Needed extra shelving in the bathroom for toiletries and towel rails for wet towels.
