Needed some instruction sheets to say where thermostat was. Had to contact Darren a couple of times. He was great. But I shouldn’t have needed to.

We liked the location, it was very clean, the parking facilities were good and the host were very helpful and respond quickly to any problems.

Everything was fine but the toilet seat needs to be changed.

The location is fantastic, it is just off the main street so nice and quiet but a few steps and you are in the middle of Cockermouth with a range of restaurants and bars. (Would particularly recommend Aspava which is just round the corner!) The apartment itself had plenty of room for two people over a long weekend. It was definitely value for money as it would be difficult to find a B&B for this price where you would only have one room and no living space. Kitchen space had plenty of pots, pans etc, only minor drawback for me was a lack of variety of glasses (wine/prosecco/pint glasses. Not a negative as such, more of a tip for future travellers to bring their own/buy some cheap ones from Wilko which is close by). Getting into the apartment was made simple thanks to Darren, he called on the morning of arrival and gave thorough instructions, which he also text to me. Added bonus that the apartment came with a parking space!

The apartment was based in an excellent location in Cockermouth as I was here for a wedding weekend. Only a few minutes walk to the high street which had some lovely bars and restaurants. The apartment was really good value for money and parking which was free of charge. The host kept us updated throughout so we knew how to enter the facility and get WiFi access. I would stay at the property again on my next trip to the Lake District.

Hot water kept turning itself off now and again.

Great location, on the main street in less than a minute. Darren was very responsive and helpful. He gave us all of the information that we needed. The apartment had good facilities and parking right on the doorstep.

Room was a little warm at night, thinner duvet or a fan would have been good, but I'm being picky.

The property was centrally located, comfortable, and matched the description of the property. Excellent communication with the host, which made the whole experience seamless.
