Great location

- bathroom was filthy -air conditioning in bedrooms only despite being advised that all apartment was air conditioned and it was so hot we had to move as while we were promised an air conditioned unit for the living area it never arrived. - we were promised a refund for unused nights of €150 via Booking.com but we only received €105.42

The apartment's location was convenient to all planned holiday activities while maintaining a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The host thoughtfully provided condiments, coffee, and tea, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The property was impeccably clean, with fresh, fragrant linens and towels reminiscent of home.

There is nothing to complain about, but if I have just a little negative was the TV not connected to the same WiFi so made the screen share impossible. I am also not a good tech so my attempts to set it up failed for obvious reasons. But we survived without my mother's show for a few nights 😉

The apartment was in a good area. Close to bars and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable. The roof terrace was lovely with amazing views. Patricia, the owner, was lovely, too, with excellent help before and during our trip.

The view from the roof is spectacular. We loved Malta and had a wonderful time once we found better accommodation.

40 Steep steps up to second floor apartment. Should have been mentioned in description of apartment. Owner advised me when I said how hard the stairs were that she had mentioned there wasn't a lift! All other bookings I have made mentioned if steep stairs might be a problem. Terrible bed linen, flannelette sheets with well worn bobbles on them, bath with shower hose you had to hand hold while sitting in the bath. We only stayed long enough sitting in the living room while we booked more comfortable and suitable accommodation. I advised the owner we wouldn't be staying and was met with a 'no care' attitude. Thankfully we found a much nicer place.

The location and value for money were particular standouts. Communication with the host was warm and enjoyable. The peace and quiet are also worth a mention.
