Quirky Cottage, Cosy Grade II listed 2 bed apartment Troutbeck Bridge

The location was great and the property had plenty of character! The property was very clean with excellent facilities. It’s. Wonderful character property with all the modern furniture and conveniences. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly. I cannot fault the property or the owners! We look forward to our next stay.

Lovely little cottage. But needs to be noted that the cottage is very close to a very busy main road - think this needs to be noted for people staying with children. Great stay though, lovely area.

The cottage was quite damp, windows would have lots of condensation and also smelt like damp. Also worth noting the pub close by has now closed.

Booked this quirky cottage last minute due to a mix-up with another booking, and what a great find! Lovely and clean, everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away.

There was no dustpan and brush.

We loved the quirkiness of Quirky Cottage - the character features, the uneven floors and the coziness. The decor is calming and the sofa is super comfy. It is light, airy and welcoming. The heating is really efficient and the cottage warms up very quickly when coming back from a day’s walking and the wood burner is fab! The water pressure is great - lovely shower and bath and the bed, although a little soft, was comfortable and we slept really well. The only thing I can think of that was missing was a wooden spoon! The location worked well for us - we had 3 very different walks without much driving.
