Quirky Cottage, Cosy Grade II listed 2 bed apartment Troutbeck Bridge

Lots of space & everything you needed was in there, bedding was nice & clean & thick quilts. The little garden area was lovely & the field behind the property was a life saver for letting the dog out for a little first walk

Beds weren't the comfiest but that's personal preference & parking a bit of a pain

The cottage was well presented. Lots of lovely treats for our dog were left by the owners.

A little tired and in need of updating. The location wasn't ideal . We hoped it was in walking distance of amenities but wasn't. Not clear on description. Also not clear about loading and off loading. I have mobility issues so proved difficult. Also nearby pub is closed.

Excellent location for bus travel.

The advertised pub had obviously been closed for some time.

Cottage was lovely with lots of character. Location amazing between main visitor areas. Good facilities in kitchen and bathroom

No parking we had to walk across busy road to park. Not issue for us but if mobility is issue not for you. Also 7 steps up to door so no good for older or disabled people. The door at bottom of stairs by toilet is temporarily blocked off felt odd.

The location is fabulous and love the cottage

Sometimes a little pricey for just 2 nights But all in all the cottage and the owners are fantastic
