Strawberry Fields

Such a great location. Easy to walk into the main town with plenty of places to eat and drink on our doorstep. There were lots of nearby beautiful walks to enjoy with the kids and the dog. The house was clean, very comfortable beds (the only one I've ever managed to sleep in other than my own!) Lots of fridge space, bathroom facilities were great and the shower was spot on. The owners were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful little courtyard to sit and have a drink in the evening and a really peaceful little area. Will definitely be booking again in the future 😃

We loved everything!

I loved the outside private courtyard garden, it was a lovely place to sit - I obviously chose the garden swing chair :) and reflect, whilst listening to the birdsong, morning or late afternoon. Very lucky with the weather. Parking straight outside the main gate was a bonus. Easy instructions how to get to the property and access the key box on arrival. Lovely, quaint little place in an ideal spot for exploring the Western Lakes. Beds were very comfy, with mattress and pillow protectors and cotton bedding. Bathroom was very spacious, towels provided. Lounge and Kitchen area is fairly small and contained, worked for our family of three (all adults) for the bank holiday weekend stay, not sure if we were there longer and weather not as good, it would have worked as well. Great stay though and would definitely recommend or revisit if we come back to the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The only issues were the layout of the main bedroom - the bed faced the mirrored wardrobes - for someone who is body conscious I didn’t like waking up to seeing myself in a disheveled way! Also the towels are fairly tiny, would have preferred bath sheets but that’s just my preference.

Extremely dated decor , weird layout and very small semi detached bungalow , sofas small and uncomfortable for our very brief stay . We made sure we were out as much as possible . Not even milk in the fridge for our arrival ! needs more effort , no wow factor or ‘this is nice ‘ as you go in .

Very comfortable beds, good facilities, everything clean :) easy contact with very helpful owners. Would recommend this place to everybody!

Lovely house, clean, bright, well equipped, with everything that you might need during your stay. We had a lovely time, dogs have enjoyed garden time that is fenced off and secure. House is close to the lakes as well as town, supermarkets are in walking distance too. Host is superb! Responsive, friendly and will take care of any inquiry you might have promptly, we are definitely coming back. Thank you for a lovely hoilday!

Fantastic location, lovely ,clean, and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay , the bungalow has everything you can need and we will definitely return 😀

The bungalow was lovely and warm with good size bedrooms and a big bathroom . Lots of little extras: bubble bath, shampoo and conditioner, tea, coffee, sugar, veg oil. We had a Christmas card with a bottle of wine and chocolates and milk in the fridge given to us by the owners. Two lovely Christmas trees decorated in the courtyard. Fully equipped kitchen. There were even bowls for our dog.
