Strawberry Fields

Fab place to stay for exploring the Lake District. Plenty of facilities within walking distance in town centre. Property is modern, clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and quality bedding and towels. Fabulous garden courtyard which is safe for dogs. We had a great Christmas stay here, the host was very helpful even down to the decorations and a gravy boat for our Christmas lunch! We will definitely be back Thank you Tanya

Well positioned on the edge of Cockermouth, this accommodation gave us great access into the Lakes as well as still being able to walk into town. Really comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Lovely courtyard that was well fenced and perfect to let the dog run around in.

The social living space was a little smaller than I had thought it would be from the pictures, but not to an extent that caused any issues (could still fit 5 people + dog round the table).

Spotless place with everything you need for a super break. Great kitchen and bathroom. Warm and cosy. In walking distance of Cockermouth centre. Host was very responsive and great communications.

Everything was as described on website, safe area for dog to be let out in , good location for pubs , cafes etc , and areas to walk the dog, Tanya kept us well informed before we got there, about where keys were kept and code for key box etc, we didn't have to get in touch for anything but am sure if we needed to she would have been happy to help, very pleased to find tea, coffee, milk and sugar available when we got there as we'd had quite a long journey and were gasping for a cuppa on arrival, we had brought our own bowls for the dog but if we hadn't they were readily available in the apartment, the courtyard area is lovely to sit in when the weather allows, we did manage to sit out for a little while, must be lovely in the summer, all in all a lovely few days ,would definitely stop there again

Lovely little bungalow, great location in a smart residential area with an easy 15 min walk into Cockermouth. Little courtyard outside you can sit in the sunshine in. Property was lovely and clean on arrival, rainfall shower great and nice big bath to soak in after those long walks! Immaculate kitchen with welcome milk and chocolate bars on arrival a nice touch. Something I’ve not experienced before was an e mail from the host to let us know the property was ready for our arrival and a bit earlier which was much appreciated. The host, Tanya, clearly takes pride in her accommodation -thank you for a lovely stay, we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

The host couldn't do enough for use. She was outstanding and very welcoming.
