Shotover Ridge

Thank you John for sharing your beautiful home with us. We loved the outlook, peacefulness and comfort. We really appreciated the soup and bread upon arrival after a long day of travel. We only wished we had more time to stay longer

The place is beautiful, and we loved the fact that the owners had soup in a crockpot and bread waiting for us when we arrived!

It felt strange staying in the midst of a commercial/ industrial area. Plus there was road construction on Glenda Road, making it challenging to navigate.

Really comfortable accommodation. Owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

The accommodation was like a home away from home. Had everything we needed. A great view from the back verandah. It was a little tricky to find at first as it is in a business/ industrial area. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this property. It is about a 10-15min drive out of Queenstown but there is a cafes and supermarkets only a few minutes away.

There was nothing we did not like

It's beautiful in every way. I especially admired the live plants with red flowers, matching the red accents throughout the decor. Clearly, John and Ann take a lot of pride in their place and we were honored to be welcome as guests. I also have to mention the laundry facilities in the unit - such a gift to have a well functioning washer AND dryer for those of us on the road for multiple weeks! The kitchen also looked well appointed, although we did not cook in the brief time we were there.

When we arrived at this very tastefully decorated and comfortable apartment we were greeted with fantastic views and a steaming pot of home made soup and breads which was delicious and very welcome. The owners personal touch’s gave this apartment a warm welcoming feel and our stay was very relaxing. We’ll definitely be using it again.

Absolutely nothing

Groot appartement met 2 slaapkamers en een heerlijk bed om te slapen aan de voorkant. Heerlijke douche. En heel veel ruimte. Voor en achter een balkon. Het is op een bedrijventerrein, maar daar heb geen enkele last van, vooral als je een huurauto hebt. Is een paar deuren verder een koffieshop waar je ook lekkere snacks en eten kan kopen.

Je moet de trap omhoog, is te doen, alleen even lastig als je zware koffers hebt.

The place is about a 10-minute drive from the airport, which is great for travelers catching an early flight. The host is very nice and responsive. They prepared soup, garlic bread, chocolate, and cookies for the three of us—so impressive! Even the welcome note was written in our native language—such a sweet touch. The two bedrooms, living room, and dining area look exactly like the photos shown on the website. It’s a very cozy place to stay. Note: there are many stairs, so it may be challenging with large luggage or for older guests. Overall, we loved our stay!
