Monk Rooms

The apartment is spacious and cozy. It gives a vintage vibe that fits perfectly within the area, but it is also very well furnished and refurbished. I stayed there for 4 days and fully enjoyed it. It was very easy to communicate, as it is relatively close to the bus station, the beach and it is located in the epicenter of the old town with lots of bars and restaurants surrounding it. The host Aggeliki was very nice and accommodating. I had an easy check-in at arrival. Even though the cleaning lady called in sick on that day, they still managed to get the flat ready for me couple of hours before the official check-in time as I was already in town. There are two booklets in the flat with lots of useful information and Aggeliki is always available to answer any question, very responsive. At check-out time Aggeliki very kindly offered me to stay in the flat complementarily until the evening, as I had a late night flight, which allowed me to fully enjoy the last day in Chania. I will most definitely return!

Nothing that was a deal braker

Great communication with Aggeliki throughout our stay, easy check in. Lovely, clean apartment and comfortable bed. Kettle and fridge in room and microwave, toaster and bigger fridge available in little kitchen upstairs, next to the shared roof terrace. Lovely space to have breakfast. Perfect location, 10 min walk from bus station and few minutes to harbour and centre of Chania old town, which is beautiful.

Not keen on the shower / toilet being in the bedroom, but we were on the 2nd floor which has a separate living area, so we could move in there when privacy was needed!

Lovely apartment down a quiet street in the middle of Chania. Great shared rooftop. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars just at the end of the street.

Very good and detailed instructions. Helped with transportation and information needed to enhance stay. Quickly communicated to out questions. Great location and loved the small format of Monk Rooms

Best thing about monk room was the location, easy to walk and near all the attractions and nice restaurants.

Great central location, drop off van for transfer 3 min. walk (easy access) / Great roof top for breakfast or last night drink. Anggeliki checking on daily basis if everything is ok or/and if need anything, which were brought quickly. Very efficient. Much appreciated the possibility to keep one room until our departure time to use the shower upon returning from the beach before our flight.

The cleaning man (employee of the Chania community) coming very early each morning to empty some trashes with glass bottles (waking up the whole street...!) and the beep repeated sound when his eletric vehicle when reversing.. :(
