We were delighted by The Clockhouse, which was charming, stylish and comfortable - a winning combination! We appreciated all the thought that has gone into making it a haven for travellers, from the practical considerations (ie coffeemaker, washing machine, the shower with good water pressure etc) to the little touches that made it feel welcoming (like the throw rugs for snuggling into on the sofa and a selection of interesting reading material). We had a lovely welcome from our host, Sam, who made us feel right at home.

The owners are charming. The property is unique and very special. It's stylishly furnished, and the sourdough, fresh eggs (from the chickens in the garden), orange juice, butter, jam, milk, etc. were all beautifully presented.

The loo being downstairs was a bit of a pain as I tend to go about three times in the night, but for most people that wouldn't be an issue

"As experienced travellers, The Clockhouse exceeded all expectations."

Every detail was well thought out from the overall design and decor of the house to the wonderful selection of fresh produce provided for breakfast. We wanted to wind down after a hectic time in Europe and UK. It was a joy to be able to relax in the charming courtyard and garden as well as enjoy the all the comforts of the house. Our hosts, Sam and Tim could not have been more welcoming.

"Beautiful house"

Great communication with Sam who showed us around the house and garden telling us all we needed to know for an enjoyable stay. Such a beautiful house, comfortable beds, lovely kitchen and a garden to enjoy the evening in. Only 15 minutes drive to Heathrow for our flight the next day. Highly recommend The Clock house.

Charming cottage and very nicely furnished . Host Sam really nice and helpful. Provided Breakfast provisions were the icing on the cake. Fully recommend for a cosy homely stay in this beautiful part of the country. We will definitely stay again if visiting again.

No criticism reslly. Everything as advertised.
