The Clockhouse

Sam thought of everything. We arrived to eggs, croissants, tea cakes and sour dough bread. Orange juice, filtered water, butter, jam and milk. There was a nespresso coffee machine too. Towels and flannels in the bathroom, shower gel, hand soap and shampoo and even a bottle of perfume. The downstairs is a kitchen with dining table and shower room and the sofas and bed are upstairs. It's so cosy. The garden is secluded. I am already planning my next trip back. It really is a stunning place to stay in.

If I was being picky and it really is being picky, I'd say the water pressure in the shower but I even feel bad saying that because this is the best place I've stayed in. You won't regret choosing this home to stay in.

The hostess Sam was so accommodating. The place is rustic and beautiful. Sam made us feel right at home as did her dogs and chickens, she was attentive and couldn't do enough for us to make us feel welcomed. The place was spotless and very tastefully decorated. It had such a wonderful charm to it. We will 100% stay again.

The fact we booked somewhere else the previous night instead of spending 2 nights there.

The Clockhouse is in the perfect location for easy access to Windsor and Eton Dorney. All the facilities you need; great coffee, fresh orange juice, milk, bread, croissants and eggs. Extremely comfortable bed and a beautiful courtyard to relax in. You are on the Heathrow flight path but there are no planes at night so not an issue. No noise from the main road as you are set back. Would absolutely recommend.

Not a dislike at all but maybe a little sign above the little wooden door saying 'The Clockhouse' to know straight away that's where to go!

Sam had thought of everything! Many little touches. Breakfast was exactly what we wanted. Comfortable bed with good bedding.

Jets flying overhead, but to be honest we lost no sleep over it.

Very spacious upstairs sitting room and bedroom. Good location close to Heathrow. Restaurants and small supermarket around the corner and easily walkable. Nice outdoor space.

This was a completely wonderful lace to stay. So much character, comfortable and a warm and welcoming host.
