The Clockhouse

Quaint property in a convenient location. Cottage is set across a courtyard from the main house. Thoughtful welcome hamper included croissants, butter, jam, milk, bread, fresh orange juice and eggs from the hens in the garden. Sam is a perfect host and very welcoming. She assisted by providing practical items we requested ahead of our daughter’s wedding and allowed a late check out to facilitate moving the wedding dress to the nearby hotel.

Beautiful apartment, very cosy and well equipped. Very clean and perfect for our visit to Windsor. Fabulous location, local restaurants, takeaways and supermarket less than 5 minute walk away.

Location, large living and dining space, quiet, comfortable. Has everything you could want. Host is warm and welcoming!

The perfect place to unwind, and get over the jet lag. Loved the breakfast supplies,and the super comfortable bed.

There is absolutely everything to love about The Clockhouse. Sam, the host, is so warm and welcoming, as is The Clockhouse itself. I travelled with my mother, so wanted everything to be perfect for her, but our stay absolutely exceeded even my highest expectations. The bed is marvelously comfy, the bathroom stocked with lovely things. I loved that Sam lived in the main house, rather than there being an absentee host and just a lock box. Great amenities nearby, including a lively Italian restaurant, fish and chip take away and Coop. Excellent taxi service, recommended by Sam, too. We came back, after an excellent day’s guided pilgrimage, soaking wet due to some ferocious rain storms during our walk, and The Clockhouse was like a dear friend, enveloping us in warmth and comfort. We cannot thank Sam and Tim enough for their hospitality.

The addition of a teapot is the only thing we could think of recommending, as we felt we were rather wasting tea bags by having one per cup!

The Clockhouse is spacious and spotless with everything we needed for our stay. It is private, beautifully decorated, and has a great bed and pillows. It was super convenient for us, with a quick run to the airport. We wish we had longer and could’ve looked around Old Windsor.

Beautiful, unique accommodation, very tastefully decorated. We loved that it was self contained with a kitchen and lounge area etc and it was very private. Also parking on site which was great - lovely breakfast provided and we enjoyed meeting the owners dog.

It was hard to find the property as there was no obvious signage so it took a few trips up and down the road before we found our way in. Also the noise from the aeroplanes takes a little getting used to but it didn't disturb our sleep.
