The Clockhouse

Liked the location and accommodation very much. One point, however, which should be made clear is that there is no toilet upstairs so going to the bathroom in the middle of the night downstairs could be an issue for some people.

It was a quiet location and it was nice to have some space to relax. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Parking, free wifi, location, comfortable bed, tv and streaming services readily available. spacious. clean and tidy .local shops and eateries within a 5min walk . lovely courtyard to relax and enjoy the sunset. Great to have a fridge and an induction hob. we were staying because of work but I could easily see us staying for a couple of nights as a base to explore Eaton and Windsor.

shower was a little gentle for us but we understand the nature of the property. slightly tricky to spot the property form the main road when loads of traffic buzzing around

We had a beautiful stay at The Clockhouse. Our hosts were fabulous and the cottage is very well equipped. Its a short drive into Windsor, just 5 minutes by car. The cottage is so pretty and quaint with access to a lovely garden, it really is a little haven. We very much enjoyed our stay and if we re-visit the area we would look to book again.

Prettily decorated and comfortable. Lovely and cool in the courtyard. Found everything we needed. Free parking! Very friendly owners.

It was very hot during our stay. The windows are single glazed and only one opens properly so it was impossible to cool the upstairs down at all. The fan and air traffic are very loud.

Perfect location to visit Windsor or as a base for walking the Thames. Beautifully appointed little cottage. Tasteful, thoughtful design. Fab bed linen. Not disturbed by flight noise -used the fan provided as ‘white noise’. Super friendly welcome & interaction with the owners. Great value for this area.

Although a fan was provided, we struggled with the temperature as our stay was during a heatwave.

Beautifully presented, but homely feel. Warm welcome. Apartment amenities. Great bed and upstairs area. Chickens!!!!
