The Clockhouse

Met on arrival with good handover of facilities including home laid eggs for breakfast. Large amount of space (big enough to live in not just stay) and outdoor areas. Excellent bed. Several convenient eateries and supermarket plus cooking facilities. Very individual features within the property

Such a gorgeous stable conversion. Beautifully decorated, well equipped and spacious. Lovely garden and patio area. We were greeted earlier at our request and it was ready early if we needed it. Very good communication with the owner. Lots of options for a self made (food provided by the owner), breakfast.

We were there on one of the hottest days of summer and the main living room and sleeping area was very hot. There was a large fan which helped a bit. The shower was a bit weak compared to modern showers but nothing to write home about.

The hosts were very friendly and accessible. Good location. Quaint and comfortable.

I loved the whole quaint cottage. The personal touches were a kind thought and made such a difference. .

We loved everything! Lovely hosts, great cottage, cute animals, good food to make your own breakfast. Good distance for a walk into Windsor or take a bus. We'll definitely be back next time in the area :-)
