Flats Friends Condesa-Pelotari

Location only. Everything else was awful. Customer service was at best negligent as they refused to fix a broken door, posing a security threat to unprofessional. Many things are wrong and many things unresolved during our stay.

Service. Incompetent and negligent. We were not on the list whem we arrived qt the security guard and property staff refused to let us in..We told the administrator several times we don't speak Spanish and she continued to talk very fast inSpanish. My friend contrscted food poisoning, and the administrator continued to ring on the apartment bell all morning on the day she was ill and shouted in Spanish. I reported the incident to Booking.com on 4/15/24 as it was that bad. The property told us we had to leave. They were angry that we had exposed them for such terrible service and at a time that my friend was sick.

Modern building, pretty pathway to the elevator. Nice size kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Located a block away from Walmart grocery store and many restaurants nearby.

Although there were 2 condos unit blocks in front of our, we could hear the pereferico noise coming in between the 2 condos. Inside the unit, there was very poor insulation and windows were not double paned so our voices echoed inside the unit and you could hear neighbors and people talking on the ground floor. The guests next to us went to bed after 1am and woke up by 7am and it felt as they were inside my unit. Also, unit provided the bare minimum--NO hairdryer, no handsoap, no laundry detergent; only one toilet paper roll, 3 plates, 4 bowls, 2 mugs, and most dishware was chipped. Reception did not have my information upon arrival so they had to call the prop. mgmt. co. I tried contacting them a couple of times and got lucky only once to reach a person. Other times, they just didn't respond to my call or WhatsApp messages. I did get a response once regarding a pre-arrival question, but only got an answer the day after I checked out; I guess they are behind on their message response.

The comfort and security was impeccable. Felt safe even walking around the Condesa area at dark. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Nice private bathrooms. The available public rooftop terrace was small but very useful. The front desk guard was very friendly and willing to answer questions and help out as much as possible.

The front door knob on our apartment was loose and it was very difficult to get the keys to unlock and lock the unit from the outside. This would take some time jiggling the key until you hit the right spot to let you unlock or lock it. This was a hassle everyday. Supposedly the security guard was to let the owner of the unit know about this, but it was like that for the 4 days we were there. We paid for a floor unit with a patio, but we had to move our stay dates due to our flight being grounded the day we were to leave. They accommodated, but we ended up with a 2nd floor unit with no patio or balcony.

Large apartment, clean, comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Good location.

The front door was a nightmare to open and close. The lock needs to be changed. It was extremely irritating. A card lock or code lock would be much better.

The apartment is comfortable, especially the beds. Nice sized bedrooms and decent bathrooms. In a nice neighborhood.

The living room and kitchen are small and dark. Although it is in a good neighborhood (La Condesa), it is a bit of a walk to get to the good parts as it is at the very end of the neighborhood.

The appartment is well equiped with TV, cable, WiFi, anything for the kitchen. The Condesa neighborhood is great, full of nice cafes, restaurants, street food and very safe.

The apartment is extremely noisy, we understood quickly why there were ear plugs on the coffee table...The windows are paper thin which is a shame because the materials in the apartment are beautiful. The pillows should be changed and cleaning more thorough (under the bed was an absolute storm of dust and wool).

The apartment is in a good location other than next to a freeway (earplugs were provided, thankyou). Very clean and comfortable (especially the beds). It was my second time at this apartment and will stay again.

The check in with the doorman was ok... he did not have my reservation at first but was able to retrieve it within a reasonable time. Towels in the kitchen for drying dishes would have been helpful.
