Oaklands was chosen simply for the central location between North and South Mpls, and access to local public transit.

Overall, unimpressed with the lack of human interaction, considering the issues I did encounter. Phone communication with the host was poor, and my request for a 3rd floor was apparently never acknowledged, which I only learned about on arrival. Constant issues with the front door key code. Hot water in the bathroom was barely working. The sink fixtures in the kitchenette were unstable. The desk was too fragile to use. Wand missing from blinds. Fan / heater seemed to be defective. After my trip it took a month for my damage deposit to be returned, and only after I called to inquire about it. The room was serviceable in a quaint way, although for the price point I could have done much better.

Convenient, central location. Clean, neat. Near to public transportation (I did not have a car with me). A target two blocks away for grocery shopping.

Was on 1st floor, car lot outside the window and didn’t want anyone looking in so -Unfortunately- felt obligated to keep the blinds down

The room was very clean and the location was exceptional. It was extremely peaceful and the check-in process was fairly easy.

The bed was a little hard, the pillows were cheap, needed additional towels for my five night stay, and the fridge was not completely clean.

Location was perfect .Historic charm. Bay windows. Electric fire stove Kitchenette Shower pressure Chaise lounger Value for price!

Motorcycle noise at night Small size of shower No closet No ice tray in the freezer We had a very narrow shelf outside our room 208. It was handy to place coffees while we unlocked the door. You could use one and a couple of hooks so you can free up your hands to enter code.at the entrance door. We stayed four days. We could have used a refresh on our towels and washcloths.

Spacious, stylish, historic, pleasant. Easy. And there was a kitchenette.

There wasn't really any caffeine provided. Just one small espresso pod. But I had caffeine pills so was OK.
