Clean, comfortable, close to beach

* a very quiet place, good with kids * a long almost unoccupied beach at a few meters distance * a good inexpensive restaurant at a few meters distance open from 11am * a very long balcony * yet another beach available at a walking distance * the host was exceptionally helpful and always available via whatsapp

* the beach is very much affected by the tide, which is also not easily predictable, sometimes it is so low that corals are exposed making beach not suitable for swimming; although another beach is at a short walking distance, so no big deal * the beach is somewhat dirty, plenty of plastic and other inorganic debris * the bed was partially broken on the legs side, although it was not affecting sleeping * the freezer door inside the fridge was absent * couldn't get past "android" loading logo in tv-box, without which tv was not operational

There were lots of ants in the apartment, our food was wasted because of that

It was clear someone did their best to make the room attractive and comfortable. The room itself was well maintained and if you were cooking the kitchen was adequate.

I booked four days and for three of the four days there was no working aircon in the room. The first night was miserable it was so hot and the next two nights we had to spend the night in another apartment to have a functioning aircon. The room was 5 meters off the road and every motor bike with no muffler or truck could be heard clearly in the room. The beach was down a very steep hill which was poorly lighted at night. The alternate room with the functional aircon was even worse and you really had to have a flashlight to find your way in the dark. My guess is that if you are looking for a chill location and get one of the better apartments with a functional aircon this would work for you. It did not work for me.

It was clean, comfortable, and had lots of amenities close by. The private balcony had great views and the sunsets where nice to watch from it.

No reception/greeting but did get a very quick message response when we didn’t know where we were going upon arrival.
