Location was good for the view and close to shop.

Location was good apart from the noise from the club.the caravan was a disgrace dirty ,smelly and dangerous, definitely not suitable for kids.i stayed at this caravan 2 yrs ago and it was supposed to be getting updated and decorated then but by the looks of things it's been run down.i would have left and gone home if I didn't have decorators in so ended up staying and did a bit cleaning, had my own bedding as always for allergies and had my dogs own bedding thank God.as you can see by the photos there were door handles missing, broken radiators, thick brown lumps on the walls 🤮,screws sticking out of units and gaps in the decking not to forget the thick dust everywhere. Glad to be back home.

The lock box was very tricky to open, took 30 minutes, it needs replacing with a normal key code lock box. Needs a few repairs such as constant dripping shower, broken door handles and verandah gate latch.

Everything as the owner said the cleaner lost key to caravan but was ok for us to put stuff in van and leave van unlocked don’t think so was told to be ask at reception for key which they told me she’d lost it on Tuesday and why then did she not let us know before we came up so then made a decision to book one of the other vans on the sight but I was left over £300 out of pocket or not have anywhere to stay we proceeded to book it was stressful my friend in a wheelchair and I just lost my husband she ruined my first break away the staff on reception were brilliant they said she’s done it lots of times before think she shouldn’t be able to have the caravan and sell it to public if she keeps doing it thankfully staff at reception sorted us out and then she rang and said key was found we said no cause I’d already booked another van as we didn’t want to be homeless for the weekend and couldn’t take a chance so she ruined the first few hours of our stay. I have had a full refund on booking now

The property was in a very poor condition, there were door handles missing, a window pane above the small bedroom door was missing, the shower was leaking (which the owner said they were unaware of), one of the thermostats on the radiator was broken in the living room, the key to caravan had been left outside of the caravan and not in the keysafe on arrival. The decking outside of the caravan is in very poor condition and feels very unsafe to walk on. The property wasn’t very clean, carpets were dirty and stained, when I got the vacuum cleaner out to clean up it sounded like it was going to explode. Very disappointed with our stay and feel the price we payed was very high for what we got. We had another break booked for August which we have now cancelled and found another property, I would not recommend this caravan to anyone, especially if you have small kids as the gate to the decking doesn’t close properly and isn’t secure. It really is a shame as the caravan has the potential to be a very nice caravan if it is kept clean and well taken care of.
