Pine cottage with private hot tub

Clean, nice hot tub, road towards it a bit bumpy but worth for the price👌😁

The hot tub and location were fantastic

The hot tub was exposed to passers by who were going to nearby properties.

We didn’t stay over. Only there for a few hours. From the minute we arrived I knew it wasn’t going to be a nice relaxing night away as we were bombared with warnings everywhere we went about being charged for absolutely anything. Badly run down and so dusty wasn’t cleaned properly. Was squashed in beside the owners house with cctv on my children as they were in the hot tub. Got made to strip the beds empty the bins ourself. I mean come one. 😂 nothing enjoyable about this place and wouldn’t recommend. We left after 2 hours as we were terrified we’d be charged for leaving skids in the toilet!!!

Cottage is lovely and cozy. As it got cold in evenings the heating warmed it up really quickly. It was all spotlessly clean. Nice big fluffy towels provided ( although only 1 hand towel). Both bedrooms are big and tastefully decorated. The Hot Tub is amazing, we used it both evenings for a few hours each time. Its the highlight of this property!

Although the crockery was beautiful quality, the rest of the kitchen equipment was a little lacking ; No sharp knife for cutting bread or chopping veg. Frying pan not non stick, Not enough teaspoons, not enough glasses ( a lot of pint glasses but not much else). However, this wasn't a major issue and we managed with what we had - the good things about the property by far outweighed the bad. Oh also the Bed was 'extremely' firm ! We had a slight problem with TV and outside lights on first evening and after messaging back and forth a little, the manager came to sort out the issues so that was great customer service. Agree with most other reviews that check in time is very late and checkout is very early. I was glad i had read and forewarned about the very bumpy lane to get to the property.

the dirt track up to the cottage was full of potholes but on speaking to the nice lady realised it was a private road so hit the fault of the host , i feel the check in/ out times could be better as you can only use the hot tub between 10am-10pm and check out is 10am

Location was good, nice natural area very quiet

Hot tob had a scum layer and needed a proper clean. Cooking equipment could've been better considering takeaway deliveries are very few in that area. Need investment in mattresses and pillows as were very uncomfortable

Use of hot tub only allowed between 10am and 10pm which when only stopping for 1 night and having to check out at 10 am doesnt allow time in the morning to enjoy
