Pine cottage with private hot tub

Property had all the utilities and utensils that you could need. Perfect facilities and perfect location for walking.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location 🤩

Beautiful location - ideal for walking to the Roaches a local beauty spot and beyond. Accommodation was clean and fully resourced for a very comfortable stay. Hot tub is a lovely touch!

Time limits for hot tub are 10am-10pm - which seems a little restrictive. The thought of having my morning coffee in a hot tub was quite appealing but unfortunately this was not possible due to the rules. On our last night the guests staying in the cottage above were noisy and were walking around the floors and shouting well into the night, which made sleeping very difficult. I appreciate this is not the fault of our hosts.

The price was a steal, and I loved the use of the hot tub. The location was absolutely stunning and perfect after a long day at Alton Towers. Instructions on how to access the property were well communicated.

While enjoying a cigarette in the car park and taking in the view, I was abruptly told to move back into a small area in front of the building, where I was then bitten badly by mosquitoes. The rules around the hot tub felt overly strict — it could only be used until 22:00, with jets only and no lights allowed. Right at 22:00, the outdoor lights were turned off. I understand the need to limit noise, but it would have been helpful if it had been made clearer in advance that no jets or music were allowed. A better approach might be to allow use with conditions and only intervene if guests become disruptive. I.E - no music, no jets, and being respeful past 22:00 Access to the hot tub was also very restricted — it couldn't be used until 10:00 a.m. the next day, which is at checkout time. There were also numerous signs about keeping the tub clean, which is understandable, but the tub itself wasn't in great condition. During inspection, the water was not very clean, and there was visible dirt at the bottom. Additionally, the driveway leading to the property is in poor condition and full of potholes. If you have a low or small car, be warned — access could be difficult. I also went to make a cup of coffee in the morning and all the granules had stuck togther and was not very pleasant at all

Cottage and facilities were brilliant! Had a lovely stay and lots of nice walks and Alton Towers.

Bed was very hard and the unmarked lane was very uneven and lots of pot holes.
