Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. At first we were a bit worried as we got mixed feelings from the photos but we can assure you that the rooms are lovely, clean and very big (perfect for having room to unpack). The staff were nothing but helpful! On the last day my boyfriend got sick and the main woman let us stay longer in the room, brought us teas and fresh fruit for him. Such a great stay.

People have mentioned a bad smelling bathroom but honestly we have experienced this all over south east Asia now. It isn’t just this one hotel and if anything it’s just a mild damp smell, nothing offensive.

Good for the 1 night we stayed there. A nice breakfast. The lady on the reception was lovely too.

The room and the location are ok

AVOID !! They booked a VIP bus for us to go to Hanoi. We paid them 100000 dong to have two private cabins. When arriving in the bus we were thrown at the back of the bus next to the restroom, with one cabin not even being a cabin but a mattress on the floor, touching the restroom door….!! I called the hotel and the lady told me « if you want a refund then you go out of the bus ». 5min later the bus stopped in the middle of nowhere and they told us to get out !!! At midnight! In the middle of the countryside !! The owner erased her WhatsApp’s messages saying that if we wanted the refund we needed to go out, and then proceeded to tell me that she’s trying her best to work with the bus company, that they will not kick us out without her consent (proving that it was indeed her that gave the order to kick us out early on) ! We were already very disappointed with the behavior of the owner and the hotel in general and we already had written down our review before this last incident. The staff doesn’t speak English which made it very very hard to communicate even for the simplest thing. We didn’t book the tour to the caves with them because no one was at the reception except one boy that didn’t speak English. When the owner, the only person able to communicate with us, saw us at night, she was annoyed that we didn’t book through them and she scared us that we had been scammed booking with someone else. In fact, we didn’t. We just paid full price instead of having a discount with the hotel but it’s not a big deal. She made us feel like we lost all our money and didn’t really answer our questions when we were worried. And be careful, breakfast doesn’t include drinks (and they are very pricey compared to some cafes around!) There are no shower gel and no toilet paper in the rooms. Also, we stayed two nights and there was no cleaning at all in our room (our bin was full, towels not changed etc)

Good location

The bathroom was not in good condition, the bed was very uncomfortable and unfortunately the owner was very intrusive. It's okay to want to be useful to guests, but it's not okay when you want to decide the program for them or when you criticize their choices. Furthermore, breakfast (included in the payment) required the additional payment of drinks.

I loved this hotel ! Massive spacious room, clean. Breakfast was good, the host was so lovely, smiley and caring for our needs, she also offers laundry and bike rental and she booked our bus to Hue for a much better price than online. Location was perfect, next door to a lovely Cafe. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants.
