Woodland Lodge Luxury Suite

We were met by Elizabeth on arrival who was very welcoming and had a wealth of local knowlwdge. We appreciated her recommendations of nearby walks and local attractions. The Lodge was indeed luxurious. On arrival there was milk and orange juice in the fridge as well as some treats for us to enjoy ... a lovely surprise! The bed was very comfortable and the lodge was warm, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Everything was of the highest quality and the view was spectacular! We very much enjoyed our 3 days in the Lodge, it was the perfect base for seeing round the beautiful island of Skye.

We loved the location, though somewhat remote to the main town of Portree, the local village was all we needed. The location was perfect for the day trips we had planned on The Isle Of Skye. The View from our room was spectacular, we had our own terrace to sit and enjoy the view. Everything was so clean and fresh. So much attention to detail. The Owners were so kind to greet us, and to get us settled in. They also gave us tips on all the things to do on the Isle Of Skye. We appreciated their guidance. We hope to return some day!

The weather was mostly damp while we were there, but that's Scotland for ya!!

Spacious and luxurious bedroom annex bathroom, private living room and terrace; very forthcoming and helpful tenant; wide and open view on bay and garden; very clean, tasteful & practical interior; bathrobe&slippers included; Talisker distillery at 10 min drive.

Windows cannot remain open during night time; no kitchen, no breakfast service (only fridge & coffee/tea available); closest shop/restaurant at 10 min drive by car over road full of holes, alternatively 60 min walk over same road (no nature trail), bus stop nearby, though limited service

Magnifique logement luxueux et confortable. Literie super confortable. Un frigo et une machine à café permettent de prendre le petit- déjeuner sur place. Très belle vue. Très bien situé pour visiter la région.

רחוק קצת ממוקדי העיניין באי כדי לאכול או לקנות משהו מהמכולת המקומית צריך לסוע כמה דקות לעיירה ליד הדרכים משובשים בעיירה אין בחדר מיקרוגל או פלטה מה שמקשה על הכנת אוכל במקום כי המחיר של החדר לא כולל ארוחת בוקר לדעתי המחיר ביחס למה שמקבלים יקר מידי

Beautiful property. The rooms were lovely and an amazing view in the morning.

Beautifully situated, superbly designed and decorated, stunning views, it was casually luxurious so very easy to relax in.

It is too far from Australia to have a weekend away!

Stunning location with beautiful grounds and water view. The two room suite with spacious bathroom is attractively appointed with a high end sophisticated decorator’s eye. It feels modern yet timeless. The sweet hostess has thought of many little touches that add up to a welcoming experience (ex. locally distilled whiskey, good coffee, water, snacks, nice toiletries, towel warmer). The bed is very luxurious. The gorgeous bathroom is spacious with good storage for guests. Conveniently down the road is The Old Inn, a true Scottish gem, which serves up simply delicious, elevated pub food for breakfast and dinner located right on the water. Do not miss going there! Together, these two places are the perfect place to call home when staying on Skye.

Dans cet endroit on a l'impression d'être dans notre petite maison au calme. Elizabeth assure l'accueil et prend soin de ses hôtes. Le whisky offert pour le séjour était délicieux. La chambre était très propre, spacieuse et confortable. Situé loin de la foule à quarante minutes de Portree environ.
