Stay at Luna on Wallace

The inside was clean and the shower was nice when there was hot water.

Walls and doors are made out of cheap material, we could hear everyone in the building and outside. I knew when the lady next door was in the bathroom. Trash everywhere outside the neighborhood was horrible. You don't control the air conditioner or the heat you have to message them to do it for you. Free parking is on the street on this narrow trash-filled street with homeless leaning on the vehicle when you come outside. Electric surged AC went out and if you are in the basement room it's damp and small windows to see the trash and people's feet. They are trying but failed cheaply remodel old building floors are uneven as well.

Room was super hot. Basically a sauna and the pictures on the website were pretty misleading.

It was easy to park in the area

The apartment was much smaller than we had anticipated and certainly not like it is in the picture. There was hardly room to open a suitcase and nowhere to put one. It was very hot and stuffy when we arrived. The views from the windows were onto a wall and a yard, where a neighbour started wielding a pick axe at 7.00am on Sunday morning and moving rubble at 6.30am on the Monday morning! There was no bedside table on one side of the bed and no bedside reading lights. Also the bed frame was very squeaky and the bed itself was small with a cheap mattress and bedding. Finally, the towels in the bathroom were also small. It felt like everything was done to give maximum profit for minimum spend.

I like the location

I could not control the air conditioning in my apartment and I always had to ask a manager to turn of or turn off it. it was really annoying because sometimes they didn’t respond to my request and I had to remind them couple of times another thing is I had to make check-in and check-out online through a website and I didn’t like it too. I already rented some apartments and I just received an instruction how to get there but here I need to wait until notification with my access codes for doors and they asked me do not take screenshots because next time it would be different codes.

it was a basement room with no windows and no air con controls as this was set for the rest of the building. the room got so warm that sleep was difficult. we did find a fan in the room but this was noisy.

All was very good.

No control over aircon... was on too long at night, so chilly!
