Stay at Luna on Wallace

Besides the owners almost cancelling on us last minute, the entry process was fairly simple.

The description says there is air conditioning. The owners control the air conditioning and kept it just under 80 degrees, which was extremely uncomfortable and hot. It was nearly impossible to sleep and they would not put the temperature any lower. I would not recommend this unit if the weather is going to be hot as the air conditioning will not be available.

I would start with the good things first. The apartment was clean and well appointed with all the necessities in the bathroom and in the kitchenette. Nice size shampoo and conditioner bottles. Kitchen utensils were available.

And now the real experiences. We stayed at this place for three nights four days in Philadelphia June heat. What the listing doesn't tell you that it's a basement room with 2-3 other rooms in the basement. The only window panes are the small basement windows that open to the sidewalk. You can't open them as peeping toms are walking by while you are in your bed. This WILL get claustrophobic if you are not used to living in the basements. The temperature was remotely set on the A/C to 75 degrees. No A/C remote and no way to change the A/C temperature. The owner would not respond until after I sent messages repeatedly, even 4AM in the morning as two people CANNOT sleep together in one small bed in 75 degree temperature. We both stayed up the whole night due to the heat and no response from the owner. The day after next the temperature was remotely set to 68 degrees. And there was no fan in the room. The bed was set behind a wall where there was no direct A/C air. [PICTURES ATTAHED] We had to pull the bed in the middle of the room to get some air for all the remaining nights. The owner would not attend to any requests for early check-ins or late check-outs if you need one for some reason. You will get the lock code two minutes before 4 PM. And on top of all that, the owner owns multiple buildings in the vicinity. We were not even housed in the building where we had made our reservation for. Another word of caution: I am not sure why the towels and the bedsheets were dark gray color [pictures attached]. I never see dark colors in hotels or Air BNBs--for hygiene reasons. I couldn't tell if they were clean or not. That's for you to decide.

The area. We booked it to be as close as possible to the venue and we thought it was close to it. But once we got the real address it was not.

That i never received an invoice although I asked repeatedly. I did not even get a response. This was a business trip but i need the invvoice to claim reimbursement

Basement apartment. At first trouble with code to get in and there was not call back from host. Left us in rain. Very cold AC with no directions to adjust

I Love my room! The location is pretty good! The wifi was excellent!

No wifi password was included on the room! It get confused how to get those information! I am fro EU and i didn't had 4G to connect and get all those information from the internet. No late check out included! Also I send to the host multiple times if there is any locaiton to keep my thing after the check out. The host never answer to me and that it was so rude.
