larger cars have a problem parking at back due to blocking next doors garage entrance

Location was good for us. Everything we wanted was present and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and so was the other seating. The instructions on how to find the place, where to park and how to get the key were good. The host responded promptly to questions.

The layout of the property is odd with having to go up or down stairs for nearly everything. Parking was initially a bit daunting as it was in an unlit narrow back lane but we did get used to that.

The apartment was amazing home from home. Tim very helpful plenty to do round and about

Great location within walking distance of everything we needed.Comfy beds. Nice and warm. Great pressure in the shower! Great communication from host. Lovely well fitted and immaculate kitchen. Bonus points for having a teapot!

Close to where we needed to be, good facilities in the accommodation, within walking distance of supermarkets, shops, garages and take aways. Quirky flat on different levels. My sister and I managed ok, but wouldn't be suitable for everyone. The owner does explain before you go, so it shouldn't end up as a negative point. The flat has everything you need for a fairly comfortable stay, it's quiet, plenty of room, the beds are incredibly comfortable and hot water runs from the combi boiler so there's plenty to do all you need. Tim was always just at the end of the phone to help out when needed.

I'd have loved to have seen some guide rails on the outside steps and grab rails particularly on the shower, but we coped without (slowly and gingerly, admittedly), Other than that, it was excellent value.

Location was fantastic. The house is exactly what I would expect for the amount we paid. Loved that there was a working washing machine. The house was clean and the living room felt cosy. I know some reviews mention the furniture not being up to scratch but as we were staying with dogs we didn’t mind/preferred this. Tim was so wonderful, friendly and accommodating.

There isn’t much that would stop us from staying again but the shared garden was a problem for us, the people staying in the house next door weren’t to respectful so the garden area being separated would be a much for us to stay again. Also the carpet around the toilet - but I can get over that and no tea towels in the kitchen.
