We were flooded and had to remove shoes and walk through ankle deep water to get to our car.

Location, location, location. Perfect because walking anywhere was great and at the end of the day you are just far enough away to not hear nightly noises.

Parking. If you have two cars you will need to park one of the cars somewhere along the streets.
