This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Seaview Holiday Home, by Sanguine in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of MYR 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by bank transfer. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via bank transfer, subject to an inspection of the property. From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

the owner is not responsible at all the information he gave is totally wrong the location show a different place he gave a different place and not replying my msg till now he didn’t refund my security money yet totally very very disappointed very bad customer service lit i was waiting more than 1 hours just to check in he didn’t give a full a full instructions also not recommended pls pay back my security deposit

"Advise to owner, change a better person in charge. Micheal is very lagging."

Check in collect key info only sent after chasing and chasing 3~4 times , and keep calling Micheal. After check in, realised 1 of the bathroom heater is not working, so we can't enjoy the long bath without hot water. kitchen cold water not working, so only hot water, too hot to wash. Some lighting and switches demage. Complain to Micheal on 1st day, said want to come to check but never turn up no action taken at all for the rest of my stay. Message response very very slow. Deducted my deposit for late check out without reminder, ask to waive it , he said he needed to ask the owner, after 3 days, no news. I don't want to remind him again and again. Overall, I am not happy with the stay due to no response to our complaints at all. This is my first experience with Airbnb, and it was a bad experience. The room is at Straits Quay. The ads photo is somewhere else not relavenve at all. You only know your room location upon picking up the key.

"Scam property and dishonest manager"

Property was clean

In a nutshell this is a complete scam! It is not the property advertised or selected when booking. When speaking to the owner before check in he assured me this was the property as shown in pictures. He refused to give me check in info as is self check in until 1hr before when he told me to go to a cafe in straits quay. I said I didn’t have WiFi so would need the info and assumed he was sending me to the cafe to use their WiFi on arrival. Instead when I arrived I waited an hour for someone to meet me and take me to an apartment in straits quay even though I had asked several times if this is definitely the same place as location is different on maps. No sea view. A tiny apartment which he told me I was only allowed to use the living room and not the bedroom even though the apartment I booked stated separate living area. No swimming pool as advertised. When I spoke to the manager over the phone to say this was dishonest he lost it and started to shout at me. He said he gave this apartment as I didn’t have WiFi? Then told me if I really wanted I could walk to a different property and get keys from reception, this also would not be the property booked and was a 15minute walk away with my luggage after an already long travel and waiting around I decided to just accept my loss and stay here. He made me feel very uncomfortable, I found it very odd that I was told to sleep on a sofa bed and not use the bedroom or bathroom with the bath. It was all just very annoying, I wish I had delved into the reviews before booking this place. He clearly owns several apartments none of which are the one advertised and sends you on a wild goose chase to check in.

"illegal stay, should be banned from platform"

This is a scam. They wont give location detail or answer any question from you until last minute. So you have no choice but to accept. They asked us to stay in another place 20km away from where we booked. They charged extra pax on a 6yo kid.

Nothing is good about

1.The host, Mickael (60 17-977 3420), was very rude and not easily accessible, frequently cutting off calls during discussions. Be cautious with this contact number. 2. A booking was made for Seaview Holiday Home by Sanguine, but we were given Jazz Suites instead. This was very surprising and came with additional charges. We were completely stuck at the last minute, with the children waiting in the car for too long, as it was late in the evening. 3. Hidden costs were added at the last minute. 4. The stay was completely a hassle and a total mess. 5. One of the air-conditioned rooms is leaking and causing the room to get wet.

The whole experience of staying here is a nightmare to start of with the owner responded very late of checking time and he even offered to stay somewhere else which is about one hour away from the place I booked... When we book a certain place we want to spend the time there not the other way around... Finally, he agreed to get the booked place ready, and before sending any instructions of checking in, he was sending messages of secure deposit to bank in.... Later than after, my father sounded him for making us wait he said it's okay, and there is no need to pay deposit he say will give u a nice sea view this laaa that laa... Taking key from a different place checking in different place we waited almost 2 hours late to check in... Very irresponsible owner... In the house, the fan was not working , not working air-conditioned, remote control not working... The swimming pool was very dirty... Overall, in a nutshell, we went through a very bad experience of staying here... Not recommended at all... Please don't get deceived by staying here seeing the pictures... Thank you...
