The comfiest bed, other than our own, that we've ever slept in. Lovely and clean.

The only tiny criticism is that the curtains were not blackout. Soon remedied with an eye mask.

The Lodge is very private, tastefully finished with some very nice touches & comfortable. The shower room was a good size. Messages were answered pretty much straight away

We had a little trouble opening the key box on arrival but it opened .

Beautiful lodge with everything you could need, exceptionally well equipped, warm and cosy, perfectly located for the village and surrounding areas to visit, Gerry is a fantastic host, definitely would stay here again. Caroline

Nothing it was superb

The attention to detail at The Lodge was second to none. The bed is so comfortable, the quality of the pillows and duvet, I haven’t slept that well in ages! Everything in there is of a high standard. It’s spotlessly clean and quiet. You are on the high street but set back enough to be super private and secluded. Gerry couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. I will definitely be back. Nothing at all

The Lodge was spotlessly clean, towels provided along with all kitchen appliances and everything needed for a self catering stay. Car parking provided which is important for us. Easy access to Brighton, bus stop opposite and train station 5 minutes away with plenty of car parking. Owner is a lovely lady who is contactable if required.

The central location in Hurstpierpoint was remarkably quiet with everything you could want close by although restaurants were closed on Sunday and Monday evenings during our stay. It was very helpful to be able to park off the road outside the property. The Lodge was very well equipped with every possible wish anticipated.

In the confirmation email booking.com gave the wrong code for the key box. Fortunately, Gerry the owner was at home and sorted it out. She had sent the correct code via booking.com earlier in the day. Unfortunately we were already on our way and so only received it on our return home. Providers and their agents need to appreciate that even in this day and age not everyone uses a smartphone.
